Just a few weeks after the University of Missouri Press released former NSNC President Bill Tammeus’ new book in September, it ordered a second printing. “They Were Just People: Stories of Rescue in Poland During the Holocaust,” by Tammeus and co-author Rabbi Jacques Cukierkorn has met with brisk sales and great reviews, including one by NSNC member Bonnie Squires.
