Ed Addeo of Mill Valley, Calif., has had a new novel published, “The Midnight Special”, a medical thriller about the first brain transplant.
“There’s a good story behind it, actually,” Addeo says. “It’s really a new ‘edition’ of a book that was published 38 years ago by Bernard Geis Associates, and sold out its first printing, got rave reviews, and I was even on the ‘Today’ show. But then Geis filed a Chapter XI! Stillborn! So I decided to publish it again to give it a second chance.
