    America has indeed come a long way to bring about gender equity in the workforce. It was indeed was not an easy task for human rights activists and lawyers to fight against women discrimination in America but the efforts did pay off. One of the most significant benefits of the civil rights act is the fact that America has become more productive since women now play a bigger role in the economy.
