Jamie Fisher is a Senior at Youngstown State University majoring in Communications and minoring in Journalism. She is a member of the YSU Department of Communication Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta and she presented a research paper with group members at the Ohio Communication Association virtual conference this past October 2020. Jamie is expected to graduate from YSU in August of 2021. She is an avid reader and writing is her passion. Her hopes after college are to start a career in writing. Her goal is to have a novel published within the next 5 years. She resides in Champion, Ohio with her husband and son. Jamie is the new Contest Intern for the National Society of Newspaper Columnists and is honored with the opportunity.
